We offer Adobe Flex 2 training courses, trained by our Adobe Certified Instructors using Adobe official training curriculum. The official is comprised of 5 separate courses for a total of 12 training days (96 hours of instruction).

Our instructors are also Adobe Certified Expert, which certification requires passing the developer exam. They have been through the Flex development lifecycle and will share their valuable experiences in real-life building Flex applications.

1) Flex 2 Training: Developing Rich Internet Client Applications

This three day course provides experienced application developers with hands-on, practical experience using Flex. It introduces developers to all the primary features of Flex they'll need to know in order to build a fully functional, well architected front end for a Rich Internet Application (RIA).

2) Flex 2 Training: Data and Communications

This two-day class provides experienced application developers with hands-on, practical experience connecting their Flex font ends to remote, dynamic data using Flex Data Services.

This two day course instructs developers how to connect with remote data using web services and Flex Data Services' features allowing communication with a Java / ColdFusion backend. In addition, skills will be learned how to manipulate and format the returned data.

3) Flex 2 Training: Building Dashboard Applications

This two day course provides developers with the knowledge needed to use Flex 2 charts to create highly interactive dashboards for data visualization. By the end of the course, developers will be able to create interactive dashboards by leveraging the Flex 2 framework and the Flex 2 charting com ponents.

They will learn about using, formatting and styling Flex 2 charts as well as creating interactive charts and dynamically controlling chart data. Developers will also have the opportunity to discuss conceptual topics for dashboard creation and usability. You should take this course if you are a Flex programmer who needs to provide data visualization in your Flex applications.

4) 1/2 day Adobe Flex Hands-on Workshop at RM10 only

This hands-on workshop is a great opportunity to experience and learn Adobe Flex technology directly from our experienced certified instructors.

Each participant will be given a dedicated PC and write Flex coding. The workshop enables participants to fully understand the capabilities of Flex technology.

This course is limited IT officers from Malaysian Government agencies only, limited to 12 participants per session.

5) Creating Flex/PHP/MySQL Guestbook (1 day)

This course is an excellent opportunity to learn how to create a Flex application with PHP/MySQL backend.

The guestbook is a simple application but provides the foundation to understand how to retrieve and save information from and into MySQL database using PHP programming language.

Participants will also receive the full source code (Flex and PHP source code as well as MySQL database structure). This source code can be modified to create other applications.

This source codes will save 80 hours of research/ development/ testing efforts especially for those who are new to Flex and/or PHP/MySQL.
