This course is an excellent opportunity to learn how to create a Flex application with PHP/MySQL backend.

The guestbook is a simple application but provides the foundation to understand how to retrieve and save information from and into MySQL database using PHP programming language.

Participants will also receive the full source code (Flex and PHP source code as well as MySQL database structure). This source code can be modified to create other applications.

This source codes will save 80 hours of research/ development/ testing efforts especially for those who are new to Flex and/or PHP/MySQL. Participant will also learn how to deploy Flex application into existing website / portal.

Prerequisites
Attended Flex 2: Developing Rich Client Application course is highly recommended, but not required.

• Create an application that retrieves data from MySQL database using PHP programming language
